To Conference[s] We Will Go!!

It is that time of year when spring blossoms brave the last of winter's wrath and conference chairs contemplate suicide.
I will be presenting at New England's Let Your Imagination Take Flight, on sex offenders. Always a good topic for those of us who have worked the trenches battling misogyny.
And, in May I'll go to Maine for their annual retreat. I will present a program on Friday night, topic TBA at this point, and take pitches on Saturday. At the close of the conference, I hope we do what we did last year and dine on fresh sea food. Yummo!!
The babies are calling, I have to go.
Peace

Avatar

Hi LCRW bloggers -

I created an avatar and added it to my profile, but I'm not showing up as a 'follower' of LCRW. How come?

LCRW is blogging!!

We're blogging! We're really, really blogging!! I'm so glad this chapter has finally moved into the 21st century!
Hello LCRW,

Here's something for you to do. Post a comment and let us all know what your favorite writing oriented blog is. The one that is most helpful, informative, funny etc.
Here's one I've enjoyed in the past.

http://bookendslitagency.blogspot.com/

I've often thought of submitting to them. Maybe I still will someday.

Good writing!
Christine
Hi all LCRW folks --

I made it; I got on this thing! I want to create an avatar like yours, Nic. Is there a site where I can do this or what?

How do people keep up with all the blogs they follow? If I don't get off, I'll never get back to editing my BOOK.

A challange to all LCRW members

After months of saying "we've really got to do something with the blog" I finally got my ample posterior in gear and asked for help to get signed on. As soon as that was completed, I put on my first President's message.
Whoa, fellow LCRW members, that's the only message to date!!!
No comments, no questions.

My challenge is this: for every member who contributes to the blog during the month of February, their name will go into a hat. The name will be drawn at the February meeting; the prize is one dozen votive candles. Hey--your room will smell great!!!

Peace,
Kat
